The anti-gun crowd likes to cry about what they like to call an “epidemic of gun violence” and their resolution is more gun control

Of course we know that gun control won’t stop criminals from acquiring firearms, and so will do nothing to stop the problem.

But this is only half the problem with this argument. If you have a “gun violence” epidemic and you take away the gun, you still have the violence.

And that’s the 2 part flaw in the anti-gun movement to solve the gun violence epidemic with gun control. Gun control won’t stop criminals from getting guns and even if it did, gun control doesn’t even attempt to address the violence.
