Kevin and I discuss how his firearms training as a police officer ignited a curiosity and a passion for shooting and firearms.
At NOC Kevin focuses on mindset training, using violence as a last resort and being able to extend mercy even when the law allows the use of force. At NOC Kevin aims to provide training that will benefit the everyday citizen.
Kevin Dixie founded Aiming for the truth after observing that many of the good people in the community he grew up in were suffering from the consequences of bad decisions. Aiming for the truth is a 6-spoked approach to healing broken families and strengthening the community bonds of neighbors, to improve the lives of people in the cities and states of our nation. The organization focuses on mental illness, rebuilding the family, bringing fathers back into their children’s lives. With this focus Aiming for the truth helps people build equity in their lives and teaches them how the second amendment helps them protect and secure that equity.
