How it all started …..
Uncategorized
I have been a gun rights advocate since I got my first .22 when I was 12 years old. Well I guess technically before that since I started asking my father to teach me how to shoot when I was 6. 🙂
I began taking an active role in the NJ’s gun rights movement in 2011 after enduring the immoral process of obtaining a firearms id card. Something NJ requires in order to purchase a firearm. ….don’t even think about carrying one.
In 2013 I had the opportunity to testify in front of the NJ Senate Law and Public Safety committee regarding proposed restrictions on gun owners. I say opportunity because while more than 500 people showed up to testify that day less than 50 were allowed to speak.
As you can see in this video I did not get to finish, I was thrown out, and shortly after the committee passed the bill.
About a year later, on the day before I was supposed to testify about more proposed gun laws I was arrested. I have been advised against talking about but Dan Robberts wrote about it here. After the arrest I was advised not to write or speak about gun rights until the issue was resolved. Well today the case was dismissed. ….. Let the writing and speaking begin.
As a result of the video, made by Haggzz, thousands of people have been shown just how bad the gun rights situation in NJ is, where the anti-gun movement is going in their own states, and most importantly why they should act.
