Politically incorrect guide to American History

I love the politically incorrect guides for correcting the misinformation found in our high school textbooks. The amazon review of this book calls it “right wing” ignoring Woods’ equally frequent criticism of the right and left. This is truly a book for libertarians who want a better understanding of American history and a way to answer the conservative mantra of “If we could just get back to the constitution”

This book challenges readers, especially libertarians, to dig deeper and analyze some basic assumptions about American history.

This book is especially helpful to gun rights advocates. While it doesn’t spend much time at all discussing the 2nd amendment the compact theory of the union is discussed at length and while this theory is generally helpful to the cause of liberty it may at some point pose a challenge to gun rights advocates.
